Job vacancy: Area Sales Manager – Thailand

Candidate with working experience in sales, preferably with some knowledge of forklift business, or heavy equipment. Either based in Malaysia currently or available to relocate to Malaysia

The candidate will be directly responsible for :

• Working in a small sales team consisting of 2 /3 other Sales Area Managers who cover separate regions 
• Interaction with the Workshop team available to support customers and sales team
• Identifying new prospects and expanding and updating the customer database (forklift dealers / material handling professionals)
• Providing customers and prospects with pricing and information on units they enquire about
• Filing the database with new prospect and enrich data by calling customers and prospects and update account profiles for digital marketing 
• Monitor new incoming goods to contact and offer potential customers proactively.
• Make special price proposals for packages of machines to target customers
• Keep contact with existing customers by regular phone calls, Skype, WhatsApp, etc
• Occasionally make business trip to visit customers and prospects
• Close sales and chase up payment and completion
• Prepare necessary export documentation, with support from Office Administrator and/or external logistic service providers
• Support customer with technical enquiries and set up training where appropriate
• Inviting customers and prospects to come and view our operation and stock and host in a professional manner

• Hands-on, determined go-getter 
• Individual with ability to build customer relationships and manage effectively.
